Yes that too! I hate that feeling! Even though I don't learn my lesson......

Since two independent companies came up with very similar vaccines, with similar results, it increases my confidence in the vaccine quite a bit. I won't be cutting the line to be the first one, but I could see me getting it relatively early.

He has an agenda. He always does. Look at what he did about mandated vaccines.

Body aches and pain, fatigue, and a really bad headache that have lasted a few days.....
The percent of people for the side effects is low. Also these are more or less the same side effects as the flu shot.
Also - most of us will not be eligible for the first wave of vaccines so we have a few additional months to make our decision.

Yes, they interviewed people who had the vaccine and and the booster, and said it felt like a hangover for one day. All the drinking I did in my college years, I think I can handle that.

Probably, but first I want to see Trump, Fauci, and Biden physically get the vaccine and be sure they aren’t getting placebos for public show. I also feel healthcare workers were lambs to slaughter in March so I don’t trust they aren’t being used as guinea pigs this time around as the first in line to get the vaccine. I will ultimately decide base on the evidence.

Not sure why Trump is even mentioned when talking about the vaccine. It wasn't developed because of him, it was developed despite him. Anyone in office would've pushed it through, though most any other president wouldn't have let us get into such a bad position in the first place.

I am VERY pro vaccine though.

He didn’t push anything along. For him to even mention the success of vaccine development when he bashed wearing masks, downplayed CoVid as a flu that would one day disappear, when he suggested injecting bleach, and when the White House became a hot spot, it makes it very hypocritical to now take credit for a science and research based vaccine under his tenure of golf.
He also insinuated vaccines cause autism, so he should just shove it on anything vaccine-related in my opinion. The scientists are the heroes, as are all those medical people on the front lines.
He also hasn’t attended a CoVid task force meeting in 5 months. Disgraceful.

I will... I work in a hospital and worked through COVID. Can’t do this anymore. It’s traumatizing at this point. We hovered at 2-3 patients all summer, back up to 28 covid patients as of yesterday. I’m done. I’m ready for the vaccine and people need to take it (when it’s safe to do so of coarse). None of this anti- vaccine garbage. Covid needs to end, for the economy, for people’s mental health and for me personally my own mental health. Seeing the number rise and things moving towards the early days has me ready to crack like an egg. Not getting my paper towel order online (something small) literally sent me over the edge the other day, remembering how it was back in March. I can’t take it any longer

I’m sorry  I get it. That feeling like you’re about to crack.
Just The paper towel thing put me way over the edge last week. I cannot believe the hoarding but I don’t even blame them anymore.

Cuomo has said his independent team will be ready to approve it nearly instantaneously and that this added step should cause no delay.

I am on the fence. Part of me really wants to just take it so I can get my normal life back but like most everyone, I am also hesitant due to the breakneck pace at which this vaccine is being pushed to market.
I guess I will decide when the time comes and more information comes out.

Can't even imagine how you feel. You're someone we should all be listening to. Someone with training, education, and boots on the ground experience. You also couldn't be more right about this needing to end.
I'll be taking my cues from people and institutions that know how the body works, that know how this virus works, and that actually have the tools to engage in the various intricate risk assessments that need to be done.

Yes.
I'm not in a high risk group so by the time it rolls around to me and my family, I feel like there will be a lot more information about it out there and a lot more certainty.
