10 minutes!! I was so excited! I checked quickly before I had to go to dentist appointment saw the line looked short so I figured I try and was able to get in and out in time to make it!

45 min but scanner was down and we had to fold our ballots and put them in a locked box beneath the scanner. Election board was coming to fix it and scan them in later. Not feeling very confident

Chat Icon where was this?

Holtsville, but I hear there has been problems like this in other places in Suffolk.

Were all the scanners down?

No, not all. When I went there were 2 down. I say a neighbor later post there were 3 down. I guess a few were still operating.

I was a poll worker at a site in Huntington yesterday. At one point we had two machines go down, but I can assure you that all those ballots were scanned at counted once the machine was back up and running. I can't guarantee your poll workers were as diligent, but everyone at my site yesterday was very professional and determined to get everything right.

Our experience with lines was that from 6am-9am it was INSANE! After that was a steady trickle until about 3pm. It was dead after that, maybe 10-20 people per hour. From 8-9pm I think we had 2 voters.

Election Day - 50 mins total

ETA: I attempted to vote at 6am and the line was hundreds of people deep. I ended up seeing it was about 2 hours on FB. I went back late morning and that's when it only took 50 minutes.
