Hunter Biden, thoughts?
I’ve heard plenty from the right, but I’m curious how those who support Biden feel about the emails?
Genuinely trying to hear the other side as I’ve heard nothing from them and I know if the shoe was on the other foot we would hear plenty from both sides.

For starters, it's completely unsubstantiated. The New York Post is for the bottom of bird cages. Also, I don't care WHAT is found about Hunter Biden at all. I'm not voting for him.
This sums up my feelings:
We are supposed to believe that Hunter Biden just randomly walked into a computer repair shop and dropped off a laptop with tons of incriminating evidence against him and never bothered to pick it up. The computer shop owner, who is...blind? just happens to be a diehard Trump fan. This diehard Trump fan passes the hard drive to Giuliani's lawyer and then on to the Giuliani himself. A paper that is owned by Rupert Murdoch runs the story, but instead of actually providing a copy of the hard drive for authentication use photos of the email. They refuse to hand over a copy of the hard drive that would contain verifiable metadata that would be an absolute slam dunk if validated because... who knows, they probably didn't really think that one through. All this, while it is reported that UC IC analysts were concerned that Russian intelligence would leak real and faked Burisma emails in an attempt to damage Joe Biden.
Yeah, this all adds up. There is nothing suspicious about any of this.

Except that Hillary went through nothingburger speculations and fodder from the Right with her emails about yoga and squash soup recipes .... amounting, again, to nothing. No charges. She’s not locked up.
And besides.. all of Trump’s kids and their spouses or partners are involved in way more stuff than they should be.
A shoe “designer” and her elf-on-shelf slum lord husband shouldn’t be involved in domestic and foreign policy, but here we are.

According to the NYT, the writer of the story wouldn't even put his name to it bc it wasn't verified and so they gave the by line to other random contributors without even telling them.

You're wrong.
There is no "both sides" here. Here are the differences:
The "other side" doesn't have Russian bots and Russian agents spreading this type of disinformation.
The man feeding these lies to various Americans, including Giuliani, is a KNOWN Russian agent.
Trump and his cronies have committed SO many crimes that people don't need fake ones to use against him.
The anti Trump crowd isn't dumb or indoctrinated enough to get behind something that is so nonsensical.
I am in plenty of progressive conversations and I see people questioning Trump memes and such ALL the time. As in, did he really say that? Are we sure this is true? There is a genuine desire (overall) not to spread misinformation. This is NOT happening on the other side.

Those reports about Hunter Biden and his computers have been completely debunked by the NYT, The Washington Post and the WSJ.
Additionally, Giuliani has been hanging around with Andrii Derkach, a Ukrainian lawmaker who, according to the Treasury Department, is a longtime Russian agent. According to the Treasury, Derkach has been working to promote “false and unsubstantiated narratives concerning U.S. officials in the upcoming 2020 election.”
There is nothing to hear because the story is bogus. The Post reporter didn't even put their name on on it. The 2 main sources were Bannon and Giuliani.

We’re using the word “censored” because that’s what it was. Dozens and dozens of leads (stories) involving Trump that had a nexus with the NYT didn’t have a source-or an author. It was just put forth and the media ran with it.

Absolutely. Let's be real...if this was one of the Trumps kids it would be all over the news, front page headlines....regardless if the info was substantiated or not. The media and the lefties would be salivating spreading this info. The hypocrisy is astounding. I'm sorry but I'm NOT OK with some wealthy social media giant determining the information that I'm being fed based on their political bias. Is this even real life right now? How is anyone OK with this?
I'm a parent and I'm experienced enough to know that no matter what you sacrifice and do to raise your kids sometimes they just **** up....I can't fault Joe or his wife for that however with that said as someone who is a public official, a VP of one of the biggest nations globally, you don't see any issues with this conflict of interest being brought up? I'm generously curious. Take Trump out of this equation...do you not see how this is at the very least questionable interference?

Regardless of where we are on the political spectrum, we can’t deny censoring has been super extreme. Just the other day I shared an article about the increasing amount of Americans saying they’ll refuse covid vaccines. Immediately it got flagged and deleted. They gave me a bs excuse saying it goes against their community standards on nudity and sexual activity when the article has zero to do with any of that and this is not the first time I’ve experienced that. It’s unreal.

It's not hypocrisy.
Journalists have a responsibility not to report on information that is not credible.
They don't just pass along what they hear. It doesn't work that way. They research and verify - or at least the decent ones do. That's why you have Star and Enquirer that have nonsensical tales in them. They don't do that type of work.
White House lawyers were peddling the story everywhere. The WSJ passed on it. The WSJ is hardly a bastion of liberal minds. It's a conservative leaning publication. They knew the story was BS.
Trump is a human turd that has corruption surrounding him a million ways to Sunday and pretty much any allegation that has gained any life has credibility behind it and THAT'S why you always hear about it.
The bootlicking is unbelievable. It's the oddest hill ever to die on. Trump doesn't give a shit about any American except himself. Anyone who defends him at this point just looks foolish.
