Apple Picking on LI / Sunflowers
Looking for suggestions.....
Usually we go upstate to a beautiful orchard near New Paltz- but with sports schedules I don't think we will get there. Would be great to avoid huge crowds......
Are there still any sunflowers in bloom?
Any recommendations?
I am hoping to go tomorrow morning since we had practice cancelled.

We always went to harbes but it gets very crowded. We are skipping this year.

Rottkamps is great, I have done a few photo shoots there. Waterdrinker is also in bloom. Sunflowers not apples. No clue about apples

I went to Harbes last weekend, later in the day, around 330. Not crowded at all, and had an adorable Robin Hood Quest themed corn maze.

Harbes is expensive for what you get. I would say upstate is much cheaper. Water drinker is nice for Sunflowers however this weekend you can not clip any to take homr

I dont think Rottkamps has their sunflowers anymore. Just passed their last weekend, and they are getting ready for pumpkins.
