Trump said he'll seek 3rd term

Trump said he'll seek a 3rd term because he should get a re-do on this term since "they spied on me".

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-third-term-because-they-spied-on-him-1045743/

So - we all know he can't really do that b/c it's a 2 term limit in the constitution, but I wonder how many of his ignorant follows actually believe he can do it!

What's more disturbing, though, is that it's looking more and more that he's not going to leave if he's voted out in November. I would hope that the military isn't behind him and it's just a matter of the Secret Service booting him out.

Re: Trump said he'll seek 3rd term

He always says something way over the top, even for him, when he's gaslighting... which is often... What is he distracting us from? Is it the fact that the DNC is getting a lot of attention and he's whining and crying about not getting enough attention?
Or is it that he's distracting us from the fact that he's trying to commit felony voter suppression at a National level by messing with the USPS?

Lol!! It’s so weird that people openly mock the US President. We would have never thought we could do something like that 10 years ago.

I can personally remember lots of people mocking every President back to Reagan. SNL and most late-night talk shows, even back to Johnny Carson openly mocked the current sitting President, from both parties.
It's just that the current president gives so much more material to work with. Most comedians just replay his own words verbatim that he posts every single day. We've never had a President offer this much embarrassing, unbelievable, mind-boggling stupid things on a constant basis.

Completely agree.

Trump happens to be in a class all by himself when it comes stupidity, how can you not mock him? He's a complete moron.

I f*cking knew he would try this...lol

I was thinking of Bloomberg and how he got it done for a third term. I wouldn't put anything past Trump. If he wins next month he will work on this the next 4 years to make the change. Not saying it will happen but he will say and do anything to try an make it happen.

Re: Trump said he'll seek 3rd term

Just remind the GOP that *if* trump got a 3rd term, then Obama would immediately run, and win, after that. Ask them if they really want a 3rd Obama term, and see what they think about changing the Constitutional Amendment about term limits... Chat Icon Chat Icon

The 22nd Amendment would have to be revoked/modified. 2/3rds of both the House and Senate have to pass the amendment, then it has to be passed by 3/4 of all States.

State rules are much easier to change than US rules.
