Hamilton!!
Anyone else super excited?!
Saw it on Broadway and can't wait to watch with my boys tonight. Maybe bc they're tired of hearing me sing in the kitchen while making dinner and having a glass of wine busting out to the Hamiliton soundtrack on Alexa. LOL

I thought the same but I volunteered to work the show and listened to it on Spotify so I wouldn't be lost. Then I watched it and I loved it! I can't wait to watch with the original cast (I have a crush on Jonathan Groff!).

Lol I already know I don’t have a shot so I’ll just continue to have my crush on an openly gay man that’s probably 15 years younger than me. :)

That was amazing. I did not get the chance to see them on Broadway, but I am a big Lin fan. Love Daveed Digz even more now

I never saw the show or listened to the music prior to it coming to Disney+. I am now obsessed. I've been playing it over and over while I'm home working. I think I probably sing the songs in my sleep now.

This is what happened to my husband.
We saw rent 12 years ago, but as he's not a broadway guy and we couldn't afford it, haven't been back since.
watched hamilton last saturday. he's been obssessed ever since. humming songs all day long, watching every interview he can find, learning about hamilton himself.
i'm kind of over it thanks to him. lol

I had to come back here and add that i am TOTALLY HOOKED!! We watched it when it first came out, and I was underwhelmed. But, that was because my face was in my phone most of the time.
I gave it my undivided attention this weekend and I think we must have watched it 5 times since then. I am HOOKED. Eliza and her songs - OMG! I felt every ounce of her pain and the songs are stuck in my head.
Lin and the cast did an amazing job!

Every time there is any reason to toast I find myself toasting TO THE REVOLUTION!
We finish each others sentences/respond to each other with lines from the songs. If i use the word satisfied in a conversation, my kid responses in song with "you will never be satisfied"  I love it.
It has been one of the biggest highlights of my summer bringing so much joy to our home with the singing of our hearts out. And the kids & i are learning so much from all the googling of history.
I've probably watched it about 5 times (with subtitles), but we listen to the soundtrack every chance we get.
