Sandwiches
I have 30 sandwiches to make for tomorrow. Turkey and cheese and peanut butter and jelly. Can I make them tonight and keep them in the fridge? Also, I was hoping to find individual packets of mayo and mustard for the Turkey and cheese but can't find them anywhere. Should I just put mayo on them?

I think if you don't put on the condiments they should be fine. I did that when we went to the beach. Made all sandwiches the night before.
What about using a small container and putting in the condiments separate with plastic knives? Like they do when you order subs from a deli. I always keep the small soup containers from restaurants.

I always make sandwiches the night before- for my lunch, my DD's school lunch, the beach.
It's 100% fine
You can put the condiments on and it shouldn't be an issue

You can definitely make the turkey and cheese sandwiches tonight. Don't put any mayo on them and wrap them well.
The jelly might make the bread soggy if you make PB&J sandwiches tonight. We don't eat that here, so I'm not sure.

I see no problem making them ahead of time (including the mayo). They’ll be refrigerated til tomorrow so it should totally be ok.

If you spread PB on both pieces of bread first, the sandwich won't get soggy when you add the jelly.

If I’m making sandwiches ahead of time, I usually don’t put mayo on them.
We usually buy sandwich bread when it’s on sale and then freeze it. Then I’ll make a sandwich with 2 slices of frozen bread. By the time it’s lunch time, the bread is defrosted and tastes the same as non-frozen bread. Just another tip!??

I would not put the mayo on. I’d just put out squeeze bottles of mayo and mustard when you serve it. With hand sanitizer on the table lol

Making sandwiches ahead of time is fine. Just wrap them well. I wouldn't put the condiments on though. I find that they get soaked into the bread and it becomes gross. At least mayo does.

That's a really great tip! My kids are just getting into eating peanut butter and jelly, so this will come in handy! I don't know what took them so long to like it, but I can't complain as I always got to eat the rejects lol.
