Donations
I have old clothes and books to donate. Anyone know where I can donate these things in Eastern Suffolk? All of the bins are closed and the library isn’t taking them, neither is Salvation Army by me. I hate to just throw stuff on the curb But we are moving and need the stuff gone

I think Angels of LI in patchogue is taking donations.

I found that I can mail items in to thredup but I am still unsure what to do with the books...

Are you sure? They posted on Facebook last week that they were. They're pretty responsive on messenger if you want to check.

I’ve dropped to Angels if LI during this time. Hours were limited for donations (I think maybe 9-11am or something similar?) but they were collecting. If you message them on FB, they’ll Def get back to you.
Also, I was just able to schedule a pickup with BBBS- they’re coming July 3 to my area.

Just saw on FB that they’re now accepting donations curbside 9am-3pm Monday- Saturday, and they’re especially looking for clothes and shoes and books and dvds.
