After Friday Cuomo no longer having daily briefings
So Cuomo on his briefing today said after Friday he will no longer have daily ones.
I watch them never live but do watch all of them and while I think its overkill I will miss them only because I like getting the information esp. now with the phase reopening.

WE all deserve a break as most of us listen for stats and get a whole bunch of garbage. He looks pretty tan so he seems to be getting some rest and relaxation.

There's not a ton of new information to discuss everyday so it makes sense. All of the data the he brings up is available on the state's website. I just want to know when each region enters the next phase.

This is me too. I only listen to the first five minutes when he talks about reopening. I was happy to hear today that NYC can move to Phase 2 on Monday, and LI Phase 3 next Wednesday.

I'm sorry to see it end, but I guess that is a good sign.
I followed it almost everyday and it was reassuring to know someone in government had a concise plan. And the plan did seem effective.
I know many people from other states followed his briefings too, as their state had nothing like this

Too much junk in between. We all just wanted numbers and the plan.

I liked them in the beginning but now that there isn’t as much to report on - he is too preachy.
I was assuming he’d continue until Phase 4.

this is basically why I listen to him to. I dont watch live so i do skip over tons of part!!
like i said it def. is over kill at this point! Maybe the plan is just to have one when a region moves into a new phase!

I will miss seeing/hearing them. He is the ONLY politician (besides Biden) who has eased my mind and made me feel like he is actually on top of this and doing something positive to help us all. Grateful for his leadership and thankful he is not like DiSantis.
It is a step in the right direction though. This means that we are almost out of this. Fingers crossed everyone continues social distancing and wearing masks so we can go through phase 3 and 4. He will surely begin again when wave 2 hits... he deserves a break in between.

He says he will come back as needed, so I am sure when phases change, or w=if there is a milestone or set back. He ( or his office) Tweets the stats too, so I hope that will continue.
I prefer my info that way, b/c I can't stand his voice.

Did he say when beach concessions open? We have been to Robert Moses this week, twice. And the concession stand is still not open, nor is the foot sprayer. We can go inside restaurants and get take out, but can't buy a bottle of water at the beach. This is so stupid.

It’s summer, of course he’s done. He will make appearances on rainy days when he can’t be relaxing on his boat ?? just when the weather starts to change and the “second wave” arrives he will be back.
Obviously I can’t stand this man and the destruction he caused by his hypocritical “rules”. I get it, we’re in good shape but he caused a lot of destruction and takes zero responsibility and is such a hypocrite
