Xbox / PlayStation account families
Do you store your credit card information in the Xbox and / or PlayStation? I keep seeing random charges on my credit card bill for things and it is hard to track what is for the membership and what was my kids buying things. They also give me cash from their allowance and then I allow them to make purchases and I can’t tell if they are going above what I “allowed” them to do. Shame on me for not tracking it better, but it’s been a struggle on days working from home and I kind of just did this to keep them busy.
Does anyone buy a gift card and put that into the system (somehow) instead? Thanks in advance!

We do gift cards only in our play station to prevent random charges.

We have my credit card on file for our XBox I get a notification any time DS buys something. We use a giftcard for the annual membership so any charge to my credit card is him purchasing something. He has to clear all purchases with me and if he makes a purchase without my knowledge he has to pay me back and gets his XBox taken away.
