whats gong on in other states opening
Yes i know could probably google but I would probably have to go through tons of articles 
when states are reopening are they doing it as strict as NY is.
Having to still wear masks ? having to reach all these metrics or Cuomo taking it to the next level?
Also does anyone know if Florida is still requiring anyone who is from NY to self quarantine when they get there?

CA - you cant leave your house without a mask.
FL - Nail and hair salons are open, beaches opened back up. They aren't strict with masks in central FL. My aunt was in Target and only two people were wearing masks. You can also go fishing
NC - Dentists are open
NJ - Dog Groomers are open, Non essential retail & constructions opens on Monday. Beaches opened this weekend to do a test run for Memorial Day. (Camps are scheduling to open in June/July)
Texas - I know nail salons and hair is being done legally (saw it on IG)
(The other states I am getting from my family)
ETA: NJ doesn't report metrics like Cuomo does with hitting all 7 per region etc. Or maybe Murphy is just discussing them instead of showing it in an excel sheet.

My friend in Florida just posted something.
Looks like gyms are reopening on Monday there as well as some other things.

Yes, this weekend there will be Life Guards at the beaches in NJ. I guess thats the difference, you can go to enjoy yourself on the beach relaxing. Not just for walks or exercise. Not sure about bathrooms.
Gov. Murphy just stressed to try to practice Social distancing and if you can wear a mask. I guess like if you are walking in close proximity to someone else who isn't in your circle.

I'm in NC and we're in Phase 1 right now. They're still debating on moving to Phase 2 on June 1.
Phase 1 is:
Retail at 50% capacity
Childcare open for working parents and parents looking for work
Restaurants for take out/delivery only
Hair and massage are closed (although a friend in hair and a friend in massage said they'll be available June 1 but that's Phase 2)
Gyms, bowling alleys, music venues, playgrounds - all are closed
State parks - open
Face covering is encouraged

Yes, this weekend there will be Life Guards at the beaches in NJ. I guess thats the difference, you can go to enjoy yourself on the beach relaxing. Not just for walks or exercise. Not sure about bathrooms.
Gov. Murphy just stressed to try to practice Social distancing and if you can wear a mask. I guess like if you are walking in close proximity to someone else who isn't in your circle.
Good, maybe people wont' find the need to sit right the fuk on top of my blanket when there is 7 miles of open beach all around us.
Drives me nuts!!!!

Omg that is so annoying. One good thing about this is that people who didn’t have concept of personal space, know it now . Lol!
NJ did good with the parks two weeks ago. So I guess daddy is letting us play on the beach now, since we were good little kids.

And Nell that would drive me crazy that people get so close!
I hate the beach!! I dont like the water here and I dont sun bath so I never go.
My DH actually just texted me and said its cold down there and its busy!!!
my kids heard me say they will open on Memorial day weekend and asked me if we can go I told them no!!!! lol they will only be open at 50% capacity and my ass will never get up early enough to take them before they reach capacity

they def. did started with flights anyone flying in and then started stopping cars at the borders telling them they have to self isolate for 14 days. just dont know if it stopped yet.

I may drive tomorrow and go, but that’s a big maybe because idk if I’m going to get up as well. Also my son will be at my sisters, so I thought it would be a nice thing for us to. It won’t be for long or to go in the water because it will be to cold for me. Just to see the ocean and a different view. Take a nice drive.
I will let you guys know how it went, if I go. Lol!

I’ve been in my 2nd home since March 10th in Miami.
There really isn't much going on, everything Was shut down and still is.
I am in a condo so every single is closed. They even closed the marinas. The marinas are now opened back up.
But the pools are all closed down here.
Up north in Florida and on the west coast things opened up.
Next Monday most things are opening up except beaches and restaurants to dine inside.
I have not gone to any food stores, I get everything delivered and also hello fresh.
I did have to go to cvs yesterday for medicine and it wasn’t busy and there was no paper goods, Lysol, sanitizer etc
I was invited for a bbq in boca at my cousins house and probably going to decline. I do have friends that I go to their house and I do have a boat that I’ve been using since this started.
The malls are reopening or have reopened but I’m not running out to them anytime soon

california is slowly opening up in some areas.
los angeles county is where you can't leave your house without a mask. some counties have done away with needing masks.
i have to wear a mask at work, except when i'm alone in my office space.

I guess that is what happened with San Diego, they got stricter too. So weird how each state is different with rules and then within each state there’s a difference between counties and/regions.
That is another reason they can’t just locked down the entire country.

Thank you. I saw that the other day. I guess they are still enforcing that.
I really know for a fact that it isn’t being enforced at all in Florida. My friends brother has driven back and forth from NY hotspot new Rochelle a few times and also flown and hasn’t had to quarantine.
He also does Uber and Uber eats in Florida and working in NY doing in home construction. (I see his Instagram posts to confirm this)
Also my cousin and all her college friends were studying abroad Italy and Spain and she came back when they locked down. She said not one person ever called or checked in to see if she was quarantine. No one checked her or her friends temps arrive at Miami airport. This was in March.
One of our employees in Miami left on Saturday to take some time off to see his family in Philadelphia and he comes back tomorrow to start work again.
It is very hard to control people and their travels and whereabouts even if they are an employee of yours.

They should enforce it but they don't have the capacity to follow up with people.
People going from the NY area should be considerate and self-quarantine for 14 days as not to spread to the area but people are so selfish that they won't. Its a shame.
