I was raising awareness to a symptom people are unaware of
I have had 5 family members severely sick with covid and 2 people die
So no i won’t relax when you are throwing out farting jokes and other snide comments
I agree w you and am sick with some of the responses. I, for one, do NOT want to believe we should just give up and have this mentality of "well, we are all going to get it so just suck it up". No effing way. I have been doing my best to stay at home and only going out for necessary things like groceries and medicine. I have underlying issues (mild prediabetes and hypertension) and my parents are also in a high risk category based on their age and health history (mom has had lung infections, dad also has diabetes which runs in my family even though he is stick thin).
I dont like any of these snide comments and jokes, I really think its uncalled for when as I type this, there are people all over the country and world, and even people in your close family/social/work circles right now on ventilators trying to breathe and live to see another day..

I am the moron you're one of the assholess who are basically fear mongering people into believing shit that's not even proven because you read an article that I am sure was twisted in someway to make it sound more official.
You do know pink eye is caused by viruses so essentially that means pink eye could also be a sign of the flu the common cold etc.
but yes lets spread the fear that you get pink eye you will have covid 19, like i said soon every little thing that anyone has is going to be a sign of covid 19.
when does it stop that because someone test positive also may have something else its not a sign of covid 19?
you do realize this probably just not going to go away so when is it good for you to say its all over with?

Thank you Jellybelly. I am WITH YOU. I am SICK of the downplaying and mocking us who are taking this seriously. It is not a joke. We all know people who are dead now because of this virus. Making fart jokes saying people are dumb and over reacting is beyond rude. It's really low. And really immature.

for the record I called no one dumb or made fun of anyone (till now when jellybelly decided to start calling names). I just said that when is going to stop that every little thing is a sign of covid. Nervousnell said soon farts will be sign as a joke.
no one downplayed anything.

she called me a moron first also not cool. I would have never called her an asshole if she didnt call me a moron first. she shouldn't have started throwing out name calling.
and again i didn't mock anyone neither did anyone else its called not agreeing and stating soon every little thing will be considered a sign is not mocking anyone. just not agreeing

My mom was sick with COVID, home for a week and then developed pink eye... a symptom from COVID. She had been isolating in her room prior to getting it.
If she had no human contact for 2 weeks prior to developing symptoms, how did she contract Covid? Did she accept deliveries or deal w/ any delivery workers?
She was exposed to the virus at work, essential worker. After being home with the virus she developed pink eye.
I don't think it's being an alarmist to say pink eye can be a symptom of the virus. The person should likely be tested to confirm.

It’s a shame just telling someone it’s a possible sign of a serious virus causing a worldwide pandemic and a multitude of deaths has become something so ridiculous.

AGAIN my dad had it. couldnt breath etc but thankfully fought through it and i still think its getting out of hand that every little thing is being called a sign of covid.
