i almost wish i was a day drinker. might make my home life a little better, these days.

I drink on zoom calls which are tending to happen every night now! A couple glass of wine. I never really drink during the day though. Between work and home school who has the time?

I haven’t worked since November and did some day drinking during this period. My DH was working night shifts and it was our chance to hangout before he slept to go to work. Wtf else am I suppose to do. Tbh day and nights are one in the same. My son is on his phone a lot more than I would ever let him be, he’s playing fortnight, rules are 100% different in my house right now.

I do think the Memes are hysterical and what keeps my spirits up. I definitely post them even if it doesn’t apply to me, which may be what you are seeing.

Right now I could use a cocktail lol. Work was so busy this morning. Annoyed that I am basically the maid now because I am always home. The bickering. I am getting over it. That is why sometimes I get annoyed with people home alone who are lonely. What I would give for at least 1 week alone with no one to mess up what I just cleaned and to be quiet.

I don’t think everyone is necessarily drinking all day and night. I’m someone who loves to drink a glass of wine while cooking. Now with the pressure of working from home, doing schoolwork, and entertaining 2 young girls.. I drink to stay sane lol! One drink a night has now turned into two drinks. On a good day I’ll have my first drink at 5pm.. on a bad day it’s like 3pm lol!!
