What "unusual" things have you had a hard time getting?
I know TP and Lysol and wipes etc have been very hard to get, but have you had a hard time finding other, random things? I haven't been able to get Campbell's Tomato Soup - not something I normally even buy, but wanted it recently and have not been able to find it in 3 different supermarkets, over the past several weeks. Seems like such an odd thing to be in short supply

I’ve done all my shopping by ordering on Instacart, but I have not been able to get any kind of French fries, tater tots, or onion rings. They seem to get cancelled every time, and I’ve gotten deliveries from several different stores

yes, so random.
i asked a supermarket manager and he told me that they are receiving items in strange batches.
on good friday i wanted to make a traditional dominican dessert... habichuelas con dulce. it's made with red kidney beans. not a single dried red kidney bean in all the supermarkets i went to. i was so sad. i haven't had this dessert in a very long time. and since i knew i wasn't going to host easter, i was a little extra sentimental on good friday.
the other item i haven't found is my hair color.
i'm ok with my roots showing. no one on earth is going to believe this is my natural color. just odd that hair color is no where to be found.

I went to the grocery store a week ago and they were COMPLETELY out of all the reader glasses (the ones you get without a prescription). What the heck is that all about?!

I read about that. It's because everyone is stuck coloring their own hair with the salons closed
But I'm holding out... I would eff it up so bad I just know it!!

Dish wash soap. I winded up getting it. My dad wanted the cup of noodle soups. I got them on amazon and I know I paid 4x the amount that you can get them on costco.
Sugar was wiped out! I had to get the last box of sugar cubes and now I feel fancy! I might never go back to granulated LOL

Taco stuff is just so hard to find anywhere it seems. Everyone is making tacos! Sour cream is slim pickings.

I have actually seen all of these things in Walmart. Not sure why people poo poo Walmart as they have been stocked and prices are less than anyplace else.

I bought 2 boxes when all this started. I needed one right away. I'm holding out on the other one for a bit longer

I couldn't get flour for a while. Now, I can't get fruit cups. I usually but mandarin oranges and peaches. Both have been out of stock at BJ's forever.

Target had the shells, refried beans, seasoning and salsa the other day.
Sour cream not sure as we get huge ones at Bj's so haven't needed it lately.

last week I couldnt find thousand island dressing for some reason the whole dressing isle was cleaned out this week however its filled
seems things just must not be being stocked quickly in stores people i hear complaining that they cant find i see to see in stores I go to. except of course toliet paper, hand soap lysol and paper towels those are out everywhere

That is very random.
You know what's weird about that? A few weeks ago DH went to BJ's and he always gets DD the kraft mac and cheese in the little easy mac cups to microwave.
He said they didn't have any so he got the Velveeta cups instead.
Interesting.

Ditto on the sanitary supplies! I actually use pads due to an issue with my cervix, but they were wiped out a few weeks back. It was insanity!
Also, my toddler really likes steamed crinkle cut carrots. I haven't been able to find the frozen bags of them anywhere. My friends who have been out shopping haven't been able to find them anywhere. It has been weeks since I have been able to find them.
Are the toilet papers hoarders also hoarding crinkle cut carrots???

I've gotten taco supplies at the TJs in Merrick.
I saw Kraft Mac and cheese at the Target on Hempstead Tpke. The regular boxes, not sure about the cups.

You need to know when to go and people seem to always judge Walmart. I save so much money as I have compared to grocery stores and Target. I have no shame in saying I shop there and save money.
