Epidemiologists from Asia have said from the start that wearing masks could prevent spread. No, they aren’t perfect, but they’re something. I suspected from the start that we were encouraged to, and actually shamed into, NOT wearing them bc it was obvious there aren’t nearly enough.
I knew this was going to happen.
They say one thing at one time and another thing later. I do not believe this is new information to them and its frustrating.
I understand why they said it. They needed them for everyone in the medical field. But on the flip side I feel like they put out false information. If everyone was already wearing a mask the numbers would most likely be lower.

Yup. The only reason we were told not to wear masks is because there isn't enough of them. Not because wearing a mask is an overreaction.

Exactly. If medical people are wearing them, then why wouldn’t it help us? I can’t find any now, but I don’t go out that much (once or twice a week to the supermarket).
