Am I the only one....
...who couldn't give less of a shit about the Super Bowl?
Like not even the commercials, not even the food (which will cause me to feel like shit for 3 days because I'll just eat food that doesn't agree with me like I have 2 assholes), not the game, not boxes, nothing?
I just want to opt out 100% and go to the movies or something that day. Or just stay home in my PJ's and watch Lifetime movies and be left alone to not socialize.
I was never ever a football fan and even the sound of a game on in the background grates on my nerves to no end, so maybe that's it.
But I want to get this shirt to wear on Sunday:
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person on the planet who feels this way though....

Yes you are the only one lol. J/k I know a lot of people who don’t care especially at my last job. I like football so I will watch but I don’t usually do anything special. This year my sister wants to host something but it’s not because she likes it she isn’t into football at all. She just wants us over So I will go over to eat her food lol. She doesn’t even know who’s playing and my other friend who is coming too asked me what day it was. So you are not alone.
I love football but I want that shirt too

No I don’t care, either. I didn’t even know it was this Sunday until I saw it on here I don’t even know whose playing. DH is so sports obsessed that his watch vibrates every time there’s an ESPN alert or whatever. He asked me once if I’d ever thought about taking an interest you know, for him and I was like “nope. Never.”

Not me. Baseball isn’t timed. I like to have a rough estimate of when the suffering will end.
LOL when I'm stuck at a Super Bowl party or any place where a football game is on I cheer for the clock as it goes down. I just focus on it and pray it keeps counting down and doesn't stop. And 5 minutes is like 30 minutes with all the stopping they do so....

i can take it or leave it.
i've been invited to very few super bowl parties and they were ok. nothing great.
heck, i even hosted a super bowl party, once.
i spent the entire time in the kitchen cooking. not doing that, again.
i do like the t-shirt, though. i would definitely wear it proudly lol

I don’t like football at all. I do however enjoy the Super Bowl because like you , I will eat like i have 2 assholes (and also regret it) and we get boxes every year. One year we won a final and it was exciting !
I also like seeing the commercials
I may be skipping festivities this year because I woke up with a cold today and don’t want to infect everyone at my SIL house on Sunday. If not, I would have 100% bought that shirt for it.

I don't care at all. Unfortunately DH does a lot because he loves football, and DS did, this year he doesn't really. We used to get invited to the same party each year. I always went only not to be label as antisocial... but my only interest was the wine and food.

We are not football fans, but I do like attending super bowl parties for the food and the commercials. My floors are getting done so I am not sure if I am able to go to the party we normally attend, it will depend upon the workmen’s schedule.

I don't watch football, don't know the rules of the game, don't care to know them and have never watched a superbowl.
And my husband actually goes to the Giant games too.

Me! I usually don’t even watch it. With that said, my 5 year is suddenly very into watching football and has asked if we can all watch it together. I can’t say no. He’s too cute.

The only thing I know about football is that the team gets 4 chances to move the ball 10 yards. I just check the pool to see if I've won, haha. We do play commercial bingo though and that's fun. We've gotten into ridiculous arguments over whether a Bud Light commercial qualifies as a Budweiser commercial, lol

I don’t care at all about football or who wins or loses. But I look at it as one small thing to have fun with during the year.
Life is filled with so much stress and challenge. I’m gonna drink a beer and eat Doritos and be entertained by commercials.
I feel this is one of the few things Americans can all agree to enjoy. I wish we could Come together on more important topics but I digress.
If you don’t like it cool, just don’t participate.

I can drink booze and eat Doritos any day. (And I do).
And commercials are something I fast forward through on the DVR thanks to modern technology.
I don't feel we all have to agree to enjoy anything. Everyone is different. You'll be hard pressed to find anything all Americans ocan enjoy. Different strokes for different folks.
And yes, I do stay home and do me.
just wanted to see who else felt the same way I did.

I don’t care about the super bowl and I never grew up with it. I don’t understand American football and it looks like it goes on forever. Give me a timed sport like soccer any day.
It’s just starting to get here, but it’s on too late. The only good thing about it is they “American week” at the supermarket, so I can get peanut butter and Arizona ice tea on sale.

Nope, definitely not the only one! But the Super Bowl doesn't effect my life in any shape or form. I'm not a football fan, and Thank God haven't been invited to any Super Bowl Parties! Sunday will be my normal day of errands, cleaning and Mass at 5 pm.

Not the only one! But I feel like I have some sort of learning disability when it comes to football...many MANY people have tried explaining it to me, i’ve watched/been to many games, and I just can not understand or follow the rules. The only thing i’m looking forward to is the J. Lo/Shakira performance :)

We get that you don't like the superbowl. And guess what? THAT'S OK! I'm sure there are PLENTY of people who also don't care about the superbowl. I have some friends who have literally never, ever seen a single superbowl game.
I'm not a big fan of football or commercial consumerism but I always like an excuse to eat good food, be with friends and family and watch a musical concert. I'm very excited this year for Shakira!
