SSRIs while doing IVF or FET?

Hi,

I have been on zoloft 50 mg for about two years. I am thinking about trying to do a FET this year. Unfortunately, I only have 1 blast left. If we really want a baby, we may have to do IVF again, unless the FET miraculously works.

Just curious, has anyone been on a SSRI while doing IVF? Did your RE encourage going off it? I was thinking of trying to go off Zoloft this year anyway (I have been taking it due to PPD/PPA) but am curious as to how much of a rush it is to start tapering.

So I didn't do IVF. But when I went for my initial consult with my RE, she said I should 100% stay on my Lexapro when I get pregnant. She didn't specify particulars like if I do IVF, if I do a FET. I don't see how it would affect things medically. It is more important that you are mentally healthy to go through the process. I had PPD with my first child and basically went on an SSRI in preparation for baby #2. I personally wouldn't rush to taper if you feel like it may affect you. Infertility is stressful enough.
