Do all humidifiers leak?
Not sure if I’m doing something wrong
I leave towels under and around the humidifier I have in my kids room, and every morning the towels are wet. Not saturated but wet thought that if I didn’t put towels down, their furniture would be ruined over time
Am I doing something wrong

I feel like they all do at some point, doesn't matter if they are cheap or expensive.
I have two floor models and use baking pans under my humidifiers to catch any drips.

Do all humidifiers leak?

I have one in almost every room of the house. They never leak. Maybe you have it set too high? You shouldn't be able to see the mist falling. If you can, it's set too high for the current humidity in the room. At least that's what I was told. You should be able to see it coming out but it should disappear before you start to see it fall.
I did have one that leaked years ago, but when I was packing it back up to return it I found a gasket in the box that was supposed to go around where the tank and base meet. I didn't have to return it after I installed that. So, that was my fault for not reading the manual before using it. We've gone through so many humidifiers over the years that I just assumed it was like all the others. I buy the cheap Crane brand humidifiers from Target or Walmart when they're on sale, so I can throw them away when I feel like they aren't getting as clean anymore.

Are you sure they're actually leaking and not just absorbing the moisture being produced by the humidifier?

But I didn’t know you weren’t supposed to see the vapors so I’ll start with that. I guess the towels won’t be so wet if don’t blast the thing
