Anyone have Altice? *UPDATE*
Verizon won't budge with my recent increase. Looking into switching back to Cablevision. Seems like the new Altice is the latest offer. Anyone make the switch? How is the service? Is it really price for life? Any info would be appreciated!!!
*UPDATE* so with Tv, Phone and Internet it's almost the same cost as my current services with Verizon but it's locked in for life *supposedly*
If this is true then I wouldn't have to do this stupid switcheroo every 2 years.

Anyone have Altice?
We switched recently. There was one outage that was annoying and my kids complain about the internet but for me - I see no problem yet.

I have Optimum, but not Altice, and I've never had any issues with service.
My mom recently moved to LI and got Altice One and so far it's been great. They have very good service, no outages, they no longer need their router since every cable box is a router and even though she has more boxes than I do she pays about $70 less and the price is locked in. I want to make the switch!! The ONLY complaint she's had is that the cable boxes don't have the time on them.

it’s a service by optimum but an

The Optimum brand once owned by Cablevision was purchased by Altice. Altice has since upgraded the optimum boxes but it is considered the same service.

You actually have Altice. Altice is the owner of Optimum now. You may have the older boxes though. The new boxes do have the time on them :) maybe she hasn't set it up.

Yes, Optimum and Altice One are the same company, but Altice is a completely different package. I don't have Altice. I need to upgrade to have those boxes and that package. Optimum customers do not have to upgrade, actually Altice isn't even available in all areas yet. I want to upgrade but since I'm an Optimum customer I can't upgrade online with the new user promotions and I need to speak to a customer service rep. Bleh! I just haven't had the time to yet.
ETA: No, they don't all have the time on them, only the main box does. The boxes in the other rooms don't display the time. She just got this three weeks ago.
