Just wondering, if someone texts you...
asking, "can you talk now?", and you can (and want to), do you text back "yes", so that they will call you, or do you just call them instead of texting back?

Ive done both. If its like my brother or mom ( who are really the only people i speak to on the phone anyway) I usually just call them because its faster. Chances are if I am available to talk that is not going to last longer than 10 minutes so I want to just talk to them then not 5 minutes later. Rather than text "yes' and wait for their call, its easier to just call them.

I send a text back telling them to call me. Really because most of the time I dont know if they want me to call cell, house etc

I only get these from my sister and mostly when we are at work. So sometimes she needs a few to go somewhere private, I just wait for her to call me.
Or I will respond with I will call you in x min if I need to find a room, since I’m in an open space at work.

I hate talking on the phone, unless it's to my Grandma. So, I honestly never answer!

I hate it. HATE.
And my dad FINALLY got texting so now he and I text too.
But yeah, him and my mom are the only people I speak to on the phone outside of work people.

I think its sad that texting is the only way so many adults and other will only communicate by. text cant express someones feelings the same as hearing in their voice. Many times you can hear distance, sadness etc in a voice not a text
