Goldenrod: 10 years on LIF
Saw your "byline" under your screen name and thought wow, then looked at my join date and thought again wow.
I remember transitioning over here after LIW. I'm torn between it feels like 10 days ago and feels like a lifetime ago. Guess i'm having a moment. I seem to be having more and more of these "moments" lately. I'm praying its menopause!

I also came over from LIW. I've missed the activity that LIF used to see back in the day. I like to check throughout the day as a distraction and it's sad when there are hardly any new posts.

I wrote that byline 3 years ago! I should probably update that.... 
I found this site because I was having house renovations, and there were a lot more Home posts back then, and I found some helpful info. Then I started looking at the other categories in here and got hooked.

I Have been a member on LIW since 2007 and switched over here. I miss the LIW days..........those boards were so active and I should not admit this but I was on it all day long.

12 years for me.
i didn't want to transition from LIW. i was afraid it wouldn't be the same, then i fell in love.
this place used to be very busy back in the day. i think FB killed a lot of the action.

Me too. Came over from LIW... This site has helped me so much. It is sometimes better than google because I feel like when someone responds, it is their own personal view or something they went through.

I also came over from LIW when it was more active (I had to change my name at some point because I couldn't remember my password). I think the popularity of facebook groups have overtaken the forums. I like these forums because you can post anonymously.

Ive been on here for 10 years (despite what my "member" date says, this is not my original SN) My original SN had over 11K posts.....time used to FLY by at work bc I spent half the day on here, LOL!
