Anyone a Travel Agent?
Is anyone a Travel Agent? How to you become one and is there some sort of certification you need to get? I tried googling but my skills must be lacking because I found really nothing.

Anyone a Travel Agent?
I looked into doing this so many years ago and it involved taking a training class for a couple months and the pay wasn’t exactly what I was looking for.

Anyone a Travel Agent?
I work for an airline here on Long Island, actually, I work from home. The pay is awful but the benefits are amazing!!!! Heading to Ireland and Croatia in Sept. PM me if you want more information

Anyone a Travel Agent?
I am an independent consultant with Expedia Cruise Ship Centers. The center is based in Merrick but you decide whether you want to work from home or go to the center. I do this as my second job so do a lot from home. We are having a recruitment event on Saturday if you want to come and learn more about it PM me.

My mom is a TA. She said now its a lot of on the job training if someone is willing to hire you.

My friend is a TA with an agency here on LI. She specializes in Disney though I know she can sell other trips too. I know that her agency was looking for people at one point, so I asked her about it- for all the work you end up doing it sounds like you don't really make a great return. And whatever you do make, you have to split with the agency.

Anyone a Travel Agent?
I used to be a travel agent! Today, the field isn't what it used to be. Airlines no longer pay commission, and you have to do a lot of legwork for the little commissions you do make. I was trained on-the-job, and I only took classes for corporate travel groups.
