Has anyone used a parking website, parking panda or spot hero to park car?
I am heading to DC and the hotel's parking fees are ridiculous. I see online through some of these websites, parking garages right next door are a fraction of the price. I am afraid to pay and when I get there garage wont honor it. I am new to doing this. If I go to the garage directly, is it close to the price these websites are charging?

We use Spot Hero and no issues. Actually just used it on Saturday when we saw a show in NYC. I made reservations while we were driving and found the cheapest spot we could get. No issues.

I've used a few prepay parking websites and they have all been fine in NYC.

I used spot hero in the city, got to the garage and it was full and they said they weren't going to honor it. After a lot of arguing they honored it. I will never use one of those again!

We've used parking panda in DC plenty of times and never had an issue. I would do it in advance, not sure what the prices are if you just go up to the garage.

I would look at Groupon or Living Social for parking deals too.

Very happy with Spot Hero, I saved a ton visiting my friend at NYU Hospital. And they now constantly send coupons.
