Big Little Lies
Anyone watching season 2? I love that Meryl Streep is in it. Such a great cast. Nothing amazing happened in episode 1 but I still enjoyed it!

Was anyone else confused at the end of the last episode? Was that woman Ed was with at the bar someone we have seen before? And the guy with her?
Meryl Streep's character is so nuts yet so entertaining. I actually really love all the characters in this show.

This weeks episode was so short... there should have been like 15-20 min left and it ended.
I think the girl from the bar was the one he ran into in the supermarket who said she had just gotten her boobs done...

I was confused too -- It feels like we should remember her, but I dont. It also read as an invitation for a threesome...but I cant picture Ed going for that. So so weird.

The woman at the bar was Tori...Joseph's wife who Madeline had the affair with. And that was Joseph sitting at the table watching them. Seemed to me like Tori wants to make it even between them.
And Jane's new boyfriend coming out of the police station!? is he working with the cops to get info from her? Meryl Streep is amazing...she is so good at the manipulation. and how she questions Jane about her rape. I don't know how she kept her calm.
Maybe it's just me...but i feel like this little lie isn't THAT huge. can't they always tell the cops that they were scared to tell the truth but it was self defense? I mean Celeste had bruises on her.

Oh! I didn't even realize that he came out of the police station! The scenes were flashing around so much. I just thought Bonnie was standing there, contemplating going in again. I thought it was just a cliff hanger that he walked out to his car and somebody was standing there. AND I watched it twice! LOL Oblivious.

I think he's an undercover cop maybe? But like a PP said... why is this a big deal? why would they want to find more to this? why can't they just let it be an accidental death like they all originally stated. and even if they "solve" that one pushed but they know he was abusive to his wife and raped someone else, is that still worthy of going to jail? Maybe an anger management class... but i feel like i would rule in her favor. seems so strange to me that this is such a big deal...

it just kills me that that's how victims are treated...why didn't you call the police? why didn't you tell a friend? and then they question how she grieves.

i dont think he did. he told her that the thought of sleeping with her, to him, was enough to get back at her. he's such a nice guy.
i agree...just because she had sex with random guys?? good thing i wasn't up for custody after my divorce lol

the finale was great!!! i love the vow renewal. i love when whatsherface stood up to her piece of sh1t husband and smashed his stuff. i love that Jane is opening up. i love how celeste owned her on the stand..."did you call the police on me?". how horrible that the boys videotaped it but perfect for her case. i can't wait to see what happens when they confess.

I binged both seasons in 3 days. Absolutely LOVED it! The cast and acting is incredible! The ALL play their parts perfectly. I have to say, Renata cracks me up, what a nut lol. Perfect wrap up and can't wait to see what happens next!
