First Spray Tan

Hello!

I'm going for my first spray tan next week and I read that you can shower 6-8 hours later. I'm going in the morning but once I shower will I still have to worry about staining my sheets?

Also - can I wear a black maxi for the day? Is there anything I should steer clear from?

Re: First Spray Tan

Once you shower you will get off all the bronzer they use to show where they spray, so your sheets should be fine.
But even if you do get any bronzer on the sheets ,it washes right out.

I would wear something loose fitting- if your maxi is loose and flowy it should be ok. Once you are dry to the touch you should be fine.

Make sure to exfoliate and shave 24 hours before and don't wear deodorant or lotions etc the day of.

Also, don't panic if you look too dark at first- that's just the bronzer they use to show where they are spraying. It won't be that dark once you shower.

All this. Loose fitting, dark clothes. No bra or pull bra straps down. You don’t want anything that can rub. Definitely don’t rub with a towel after you shower. Apply lotion after you shower. It lasts longer if your skin is moisturized because it won’t flake off.

I did it... I loved it... and can absolutely see myself becoming obsessed.

Thanks for the pointers, ladies!

And to do it at home- I highly recommend the Neutrogena Micromist Airbrush Sunless tanner.
Truly fool proof and so inexpensive compared to getting a spray tan.
