I read about this last night. It’s sad.
This store has been my go to for cocktail dresses, comfy dress pants, and cute tops. Yea some of it is old lady-ish, but not all of it.
That’s a lot of jobs lost too.

Yeah I have a few things from Dress Barn. It had gotten much better in the last 5 years or so.

I saw this last night and was pretty shocked they are closing all stores right away.
It's really sad to see what's happening to brick and mortar stores these days.
And as another poster mentioned that's a lot of people losing jobs.

Oh no! I always ran there to get clothes for parties. There are very few stores us plus size women can go to and now another one gone : (.

I went to one once and wasn't imperssed but just recently I've been hearing people say they got cute dresses there. I was actually meaning to stop in.

I have gone into one occasionally when walking buy and honestly am not surprised. I never found one thing I liked.

I go there/shop online there occasionally - have definitely found some cute things there, but not a main go to store for me. But, it's definitely sad to hear they are closing down

I just bought a dress there for the first time a week ago and ended up not needing it. Hope they still take it back.

It’s getting so hard to shop and brick and mortar stores lately. I’ve been finding that the size selection is limited. Shopping online is tricky!

They have great plus size options. It’s a shame they are closing. I went there after thinking it was this frumpy shop and was very impressed by the selection. I hope Ascena expands Maurice’s into the N.Y. metro area. They have a great selection of plus size clothing and decent prices...

Another retail store bites the dust....
I'm so disappointed to hear this. This is my go-to store for weddings, communion, etc. They have a nice selection. I'm going to have to stop by soon to stock up on a few items before they close.

Me neither. The only clothes I’ve bought in a store in the past 5 years are things that catch my eye at target when I’m there for something else.

LOL that's pretty much me too.
I can't deal with stores because they have like 2 items in each size and if you don't get to it the minute they put it out your size is gone.
Way too annoying to deal with

I have something to return too. The NYT article said no changes to the return & gift card policy yet.
I am going to try & go this weekend. It was a gift, and they only ever give gift cards for that, so I have a bunch of store credit there now.

I thought they were rebranding and changing the name. I shopped at one of the locations in FL recently and name on storefront was Roz and Ali. Name on clothing tags and receipt read, Dress Barn.
