Game of Thrones - Final Season
Soooooo... how did everyone feel about yesterdays episode? I know some who loved it and others who hated it. I never would have imagined Aarya as the one to kill Daeny....but thats where it is headed. Daeny really went crazy quick.

Daeny went mad queen!!! So not happy about that. They spent 8 years building her up to a complete downfall. I hope Jon or tyrion take the throne.

I'm not sure how I feel about this episode. I never liked Cersei but I felt kind of sad for her and Jaime.
I fear for Tyrion he's my favorite and I think when Daeny finds out what he did, she might have him killed.
And Daeny definitely went mad queen all those innocent people that she didn't have to kill, they had already surrendered.

I'm afraid to read them. I keep changing my mind back and forth on what i think. My latest prediction is that Jon will die and Aarya may kill Daeny using his face. But who the heck knows!

I agree with the PP who mentioned they spent all this time building her and then this? It’s out of her character completely - so i just don’t get it. Wasn’t happy about how Jaime and Cersei went. Anti climatic and too nice for her

Cersei's ending was way too "nice" for her. It didn't even go with her prophecy of getting killed by her younger brother. Maybe they aren't dead since we didn't see the bodies? I'm really mad how they are making Dany. The whole series was her rescuing people and freeing them. Now she kills a whole city because her best friend was beheaded and her dragons died? Makes no sense. Ir really hope they don't screw up the ending but I'm afraid it's going to be like the finale of Lost and I'm going to be all pissed lol. Oh and I read the spoilers and if that is true then I really am going to be pissed lol.

She was toward people that didn't agree with her. Like killing Sam's family b/c they refused to bend the knee to her.

She has always been ruthless but usually it was to the "masters" who were enslaving their people or not treating their people correctly. She was suppose to save the "innocents". In the last episode, she killed everyone, innocents included even after they surrendered just because she was having a hissy fit. I think she started changing right when she killed Sam's family for not bending the knee.

In the episode after the battle with the night king when they were all celebrating is when she changed. Someone said something like "Men hold the power" She's realizing that she will never be a leader or hero. She could not have united all these groups without Jon Snow. So, if she can't be known for being a great leader and hero, she will be remembered for this. Really she is on a power trip. A true leader can work with allies without them needing to bend to you.

Where did the whole army come from and where have they been staying and getting food? So many questions! LOL
Daeny is just insane and the episode made me so mad! I also don't like how the Hound and the brother ended up. I still can't remember the whole thing why he wants revenge. I remember it had something to do with his face.
BTW - what happened to his brother and why does he look like Darth Vader? Why can't he die? LOL
How is it that Arya only got in the castle?
and Jamie totally forgot about what's her face back at Winterfell. I know he always loved Cerci, but he was starting to get good. Too much back and forth

My memory is a bit fuzzy, but here is what i remember.
The Hounds face was burned by his brother The Mountain in childhood. I think he was playing with one of the Mountains toys and he was burned -- so basically for no good reason. Hence the rivalry.
The Mountain was killed by Oberyn when there was a duel for Tyrions life. I think Cersi had someone bring The Mountain back to life and that is why he looks the way he does now.
I think Jaime was always good with some bad decisions. His love for Cersi being the worst of those bad decisions unfortunately.

I was talking to a friend the other day and she had a great theory for the ending. Dany is going to put Tyrion to death because he betrayed her again (in her mind by letting Jamie go) and will set the dragon on him. Some of the theories going around is that Tyrion is half (I can't spell it but the family that is Jon and Dany) and then Tyrion will not die in the fire and he will end up becoming the true King. I like that theory lol. Then Dany and Jon and kill each other.

I think she’ll get all pissed and try and burn Jon and he won’t burn cuz he’s a Targaryen and the truth will come out that he is the heir to the throne
But I would love to see Tyrion win it all

Ive had this theory that tyrion is half targarean for a while...but i dont know how it is going to play out. I think the theory that they try to burn him and he doesnt burn makes the most sense since there is no time left!!

Agreed.
I feel like they did it for the shock value. 
A lot of people are saying this is what Daenerys has been like the whole time but no not really. She's always been kind to innocent people and ruthless towards people who have wronged her or other innocents. She may feel all of the people in Kings Landing hiding behind the walls are complicit as they sided with Cersei but that's a stretch and I'm sure she knows it. She wanted vengeance in the moment and I feel like she felt she was robbed of it when everyone surrendered so easily.
Daenerys: "I don't want to be queen of the ashes."
Also Daenerys: 
And on that note, why didn't she burn up those scorpions and ships with her TWO dragons? She couldn't knock out a single damn boat with two dragons but rained hell down on them with one? Ugh I'm so pissed!
I hope Varys got the word out enough about Jon's heritage so they can get rid of Daenerys, though I never thought I'd say that.
I'm also pissed at how rushed this season is. I just don't understand why they felt the need to cram this all in 6 episodes? Maybe if they had a full season they could've explored Dany's feelings of fear and rejection so this turn wouldn't have seemed so abrupt and forced.
Even the writing and CGI isn't good anymore. And they waste time with garbage storylines. Who the hell cared about Euron? Not a single person! The whole fight with Jaime was ridiculous. I cringed it was so bad.
And then to kill Cersei like this. To make her into this big bad thing and then she gets smushed by some rocks? 
My prediction- Jon kills Dany (the man who passes the sentence should swing the sword!), he refuses the throne, Sansa wins. The end, good riddance!
ETA: The even made Cleganebowl anticlimactic.

A friend of mine doesn’t believe cersei and Jamie died “unless we see them die I don’t buy it”
Same friend says Arya Is dead and the white horse was symbolic of that- he said that the white horse was from the front gates of the castle and it died during the front gate battle
Idk. I don’t feel that way. I don’t want to believe Arya died
The writing- clearly nowhere near as good as when the author was doing all the work. Stinks now that they’ve passed the books and they gotta come up with stuff on their own.
What also annoys me is the possibility of two predictions being wrong - fortune teller in the woods telling cersei that her brother will kill her (maybe she meant they’ll die together but that’s a stretch from what she said) and Arya shutting green eyes- danerys has green eyes (books say Targaryens have violet eyes) but ok. Doesn’t seem like that’s where it’s heading
I just hope tonight is worth watching
And yeah Sansa winning everything would be amazing

I don't even know where to start with this dumpster fire. I'm glad Jon killed Dany because it was the right thing but it was so quick and nothing (like everything this season). I don't believe Dany would let him get that close after what she did and how threatened and betrayed shes felt all season. But whatever. I felt bad for Drogon- poor guy! And what did Jon do? Stab Dany and walk out and tell Grey Worm, "Hey I just killed your queen..." What a dumb ass. He should've high tailed it out of there, got the northerners behind him and declared himself king... or if he didn't want that then just peaced out with the free folk, stopping at winterfell to tell his sisters about what happened.
And I'm sorry, why does Grey Worm have a say in who gets to be king/queen? If he's leaving to go to Naath, then just leave. THere's nothing for you here and he should've just killed Jon on the spot if he wanted justice for his queen. Another dummy.
And Tyrion... Bran has the most interesting story? Ugh what kind of patriarchal misogynist nonsense is that? Sansa and Arya had far more interesting story arcs... they've seen some sh!t!
And Bran "Why do you think I came all this way?" so this all knowing three eyed raven knew he was going to be crowned king and let it all unfold to his benefit?
And the last scenes felt like a bad ending to a crappy sitcom... with Bronn cracking jokes (uh, why are you here anyway?!) and them following Jon, Arya, and Sansa.
The ONLY satisfying moments were when Sansa told her uncle Edmure who has been useless the entire series to sit down. 
And when Ghost finally got his pets.
ETA: Oh and Robyn Arryn... him and Tormund... proof positive that breast milk does a body good.

Tyrion knows the exact spot where his sibs are buried? And they're three bricks from the top? Are you kidding me? Plus his crying was some of the worst acting I've seen from him. It's because he even knew it was garbage.
And who gives a crap about Jaime's chapter?
I'm so irrationally angry over this whole season. I feel like George Lopez's wife. I give you a kidney and you turn around and betray me.
Disgusted.
