Is it just me....
or does Meghan Markle constantly rub her bump???
I know this is a trivial pet peeve, but is it really necessary to constantly rub yourself when you are pregnant? Especially when you are one of the most famous women in the world and EVERYONE knows you are expecting.
I don't really care when I see people do it. 21 weeks pregnant myself, I just don't do it.
I know...it's silly....but it just irks me

You are right- it is trivial. I rubbed my stomach all the time during both my pregnancies. I was so happy to be pregnant and it made me feel more connected to my babies. If that bothered people, well then too damn bad. I never understood why such a harmless and sweet act bothered some people.

Same. I think it was also a comfort thing. Especially when you were bigger and you felt them moving. Too each their own but it doesn't bother me. She also may feel very protective of her baby already since she is a royal now.

It annoys me because she has been cradling it and sticking it out since she peed on the stick. This isn’t something that happened after she popped. She was literally cradling and sticking out nothing when she was about 3 months. and since she is thin, there was no belly.
Normal pregnant people doesn’t bother me, her - annoying as fuk. Lol

I just don't care for the vibe she gives off. I don't care if she rubs her belly. She just seems like a very demanding person from everything I have read, and I find that offputting. Like who calls their staff at 5 am to make demands. That just screams obnoxious.

I love her but even if I didn't, if I was 37 and pregnant and had people following me around and bullying me online and saying rude stuff all the time, I'd be protective/holding my bump all the time too.
It seems like a super odd thing to be critical of.

Is it just me....
I know most women rub their bumps, but only when they have a bump! She was doing at one day pregnant and yes, drives me out of my mind. She is just an attention whore, IMO of course!

How far along is she?
I'm 37 weeks and I find myself rubbing my bump a lot... but not in a sweet loving way. More like a "OMG get your foot off the wall of my uterus/out of my ribs before I get internal bruising" sort of way. This kid is tough man.

I think they've blown her whole pregnancy out of proportion. For example, when she went to Princess Eugenie's wedding and didn't take her coat off the entire time so as to not "out" herself as pregnant. FYI...she didn't show for a solid 3 more months! Wearing the coat was more obvious than if she just dressed normally.
I cradled my bump to accentuate it in some pictures. Sometimes (especially during my second), I thought my uterus was going to fall out of me, so I was literally holding my stomach up. But she rubs that thing so much that it's a bit ridiculous.
Literally millions of women have been pregnant before her and millions will be pregnant after her. I think she likes the extra attention.

I never rubbed my pregnant belly and I don't know why people do, seems weird to me. I just saw a woman I know doing this at 5 weeks pregnant, really seemed bizarre.

I never did either but that was because it freaked me out. I hated being pregnant and just wanted my body back to normal. It wasn't an easy time for me hence why I never did it again.
And I know someone who was wearing maternity tops...huge ones...at 5 weeks so yeah.....
