Red Light Camera Tickets
Does anyone know how much these tickets are in Nassau County. Was following a friend home today and in following him I ended up running a yellow-- which was really a red (I assume since I saw a double flash as I passed the intersection).
Just wondering how much Im in for..

i cant remember the exact amount but well over $100 i am going t throw out the number $160 is what i think i paid for one less than a year ago

Red Light Camera Tickets
It depends on if the front of your car crossed the white line AFTER the light turns red. So if you enter the intersection and the light was the yellow, you probably are ok. (I live in Suffolk.)
Seeing the light flash does not always mean you are getting a ticket.

Red Light Camera Tickets
Of you crossed into the intersection while it was still yellow you’re fine.
I got one in Suffolk, but it was def over $100. The ticket itself was maybe $75 but the admin fees were more than the ticket!

Would I have seen two camera flashes though if the light was only yellow when I crossed into intersection. I mean I thought it was yellow but when I saw the flash twice I assumed it had already turned red

Yes sometimes it flashes early
