Workout pants

I found a pair at old navy that i love. They are mid rise, regular material (not the kind that feels like rubber) the only issue I have is THEY ARE THE ONLY mid rise ones they carry. This one pair. Gray striped. They don’t exist in any other color or style. Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) else is high rise and that rubber feeling material.

Wtf

I need pants for the gym. I have a few pairs of cropped pants I got at kohl’s last year but It it’s freezing out and out love pants to the ankle.

Anyone see mid rise workout leggings , in black that aren’t $1 million dollars ? Everyone keeps telling me lulu lemon. I’m not spending that kinda money.
I also need ones that aren’t see through when I do a squat!

I saw a debate about this on fb recently. Have you tried Athletica? They seem to be similar to Lulu but cheaper.

Lululemon/Athleta Lululemon Athletica charges about $30 more for a pair of basic yoga pants than Gap Inc.'s Athleta simply because it knows women will pay for the brand. Lululemon's $98 pair looks almost exactly like Athleta's $69 pants. The materials, a mixture of nylon and Lycra, are also the same.

Me too. Try 90 Degree by Reflex brand. I think they’re great.

Dafaq outta here with that nonsense.
Your coochie will sweat just the same in those things as the $20 ones. Ridiculous.

OP- did you try Target?

Also i find a lot of really nice work out pants on Groupon believe it or not- different brands.
Maybe take a look.

Re: Workout pants

The Old Navy Midrise are my favorite too. But I am ok with the other material so I have few pairs. I will say keep your eye out because I find that not every store has the same inventory and not everything is online.

Also check Gap/Gap Outlet. They usually will have a cotton pair too.

Modells carries a brand called Moret. They are similar to the ON ones you like and not expensive at all.

Like someone else mentioned check out TJ Maxx/Marshalls. I have found some random ones there as well. And believe it or not Walmart.

I can't spend a lot on workout clothes and to be honest I have tried Lulu Lemon and I am not a big fan. Maybe to wear around but not for actual working out.

Re: Workout pants

I know exactly which ones you’re talking about because I have about ten pairs of them. They’re the best!

Every once in awhile they have them in navy/black stripe online and blue/navy stripe online. Way back when the gray ones had a small pocket at the waist and I miss that ever so much.

Keep checking online for the other colors. They’ll turn up eventually!

Walmart Danskin ones are cheap and great. I would never pay $$$$ for clothes to sweat in.

Re: Workout pants

Thanks everyone

I’m gonna stalk the 3 old navy’s I have by me and hit up kohl’s next week w my 30% off coupon. Though I’ve tried on workout pants at kohl’s a lot and never found ones I liked. Doesn’t hurt to try again!
I’ll also check out Marshall’s. There’s one right by old navy in West Babylon

Re: Workout pants

With this weather I wear leg warmers and boots to the gym - I walk there - That way I wear my workout pants year round. I'm like you... I can't justify expensive workout pants. I get mine in Old Navy, Century 21, and Amazon. I try to get them smaller, because the start to stretch and fall.

Re: Workout pants

Old navy x2. Struck out
Went to Kohl’s today after the gym. Tried on 1 of each brand they offered. 12 pair. Nada. Some were sneakily high rise even though it didn’t say it. I broke some sweat putting on and taking off all of those pants! Then on the way out, I saw plain old Sonoma black leggings. Mid rise.
Grabbed 2 pair! Now to hope the thighs don’t get holes after just a few wears #bigthighprobelms

I’ll still try one every time I’m Out. But I’m glad I got at least something to start with
