Easy crock pot recipes for party
I’m having a party soon and I’m not a great cook. Are there any easy and tasty crock pot recipes that are good for a party?

bag of frozen meatballs, jar of bbq sauce and a jar of grape jelly. YUM.

Easy crock pot recipes for party
i make this for the holidays every year:
Crockpot cranberry meatballs
1 two-lb bag of frozen meatballs
1 jar of chili sauce
1 jar of cranberry sauce
cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the sauce is bubbly. Serve right out of the crockpot and leave little plates and toothpicks off the side for people to snack on. It's a great appetizer!

I was going to recommend this one also...the cranberries make it so holiday-ish!

Meatballs of any kind
Pulled pork (can put on sliders)
Pulled buffalo chicken (on sliders with blue cheese slaw- a bag of fresh cole slaw mixed with blue cheese dressing)
Sausage and pepper dip

I do the meatballs with bbq sauce (sweet and spicy) and the grape jelly. I do however make my own meatballs, bake them and put in a container ahead of time, I just can’t like a bag of the frozen ones for some reason

I would do Penne a la Vodka - keep warm in the crockpot for serving with a side of meatballs, maybe chicken cutlets (you could even order a tray of them to make things easier) and a big salad and crusty bread.
I have a receipe for a really good, simple penne a la vodka. I always get compliments on it when I make it.
Penne a la Vodka
2 boxes of penne pasta
Chopped Pancetta
1.5 sticks butter
16 oz heavy cream (sometimes I use half half-and-half and the rest heavy cream)
32 oz tomato sauce (I use one of the larger size cans of Cento tomato sauce – I think it’s 32 oz)
An entire package of shredded mozzarella cheese
About half of one of those containers that is Italian Blend Parm and Romano (or more to taste)
Salt, pepper to taste
Sometimes I throw in a little red pepper flakes
Saute Chopped Pancetta in butter for 2-3 minutes.
Throw in rest of ingredients except mozzarella for 15 minutes until it is boiling and all cheese is melted. Then I taste it. Sometimes I will add in a half a jar of regular jarred tomato sauce (or another ½ can of sauce) if it is too cheesy. Depends what you like. Doesn’t matter what brand it is.
Turn flame all the way down on low and add an entire package of shredded mozzarella.
Cook the penne pasta al dente and then mix it with the sauce and let it all cook together for the last 5 minutes on low.

Yes, I am curious about this as well.
I like to do taco meat in the crock pot and then serve the fixings with it when the meat is done.

This comes out amazing and I get creamy parmesan risotto to put on the side...
you do have to brown the meat but the end result is amazing. People will think you slaved over a hot stove all day...

I did the meatballs once, and they were not popular. Could have been my crowd.
Pulled pork sliders
Taco meat or chili for nacho station
buffalo chicken dip
reuben dip
mac and cheese- but a recipe specific for a slow cooker. Many pastas will become mushy.
