For Hanukkah I got my mom Philosophy stuff she likes and my Dad I got a new electric shaver
My sister got my mom a really pretty necklace and a gc to her nail place and she got my dad a gc to one of his favorite restaurants

I get them a shutterfly calendar each year of their grandkids. I may add amazon GC as well since they are prime members and always buy stuff off of it.

My parents are getting tickets to beautiful and a restaurant gift card (from me and my brother). My inlaws are getting a double wide personalized doormat from pottery barn for their front door. (From just us)

Sweater, robe, movie tickets, scarf, earmuffs for behind neck. My brother gave this digitally drawn photo of their son in a frame. It was really nice. He also give a surprise sports team box for my dad.

My dad doesn't want anything, he has enough of everything. I make him a big tin of Christmas cookies and buy some German holiday treats.
The other parents are gone.

Nothing. I am not going home this year and we stopped exchanging gifts because it became exchanging gift cards. It’s a waste and we don’t need more stuff. I also cannot afford to get them anything at this time. My legal bills are adding up.

Nothing - it’s become this exchanging of gift cards amongst all the adults so we put a stop on that a couple years ago. Kids only. Us adults can buy whatever we want for ourselves, whenever we want.

Yep. I'm on a mission to stop Christmas gifts between adults. Would make life easier and less stressful. I buy anything I want when I want it

I give my mom $ every year becaus she can use it. And a small token gift. Ornament for tree, etc
My mil and fil are impossible (see my post about it lol)
For mil, we chipped in with my sil & bil and did a workout shirt, $100 towards her gym membership she can used for training classes (she loves to work out) and we got her tickets to a show in Babylon that my sil and I will go to with her and go to dinner first
Fil we got cologne, Pjs with a shirt that mentions he’s a sensei and gift cards for him to use with his oldest granddaughter. They go to Chuck E. Cheese and Panera for lunch dates.

Ugh, they are the hardest. I bought my dad some clothes. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer and has lost a lot of weight.  But I also got him a calendar with photos of my DD each month since she is literally the thing that keeps him going, plus I figured it would be a good place to write down appointments to keep track. I also had DD make him a framed sign that says "World's Best Grandpa... Hands Down" with her hand prints on it.
My mom I got a sweater and a new house for her North Pole village that she was eyeing when we were out shopping.

I usually get them a smaller individual gift each, and then a gift card to go out to a nice restaurant. They are hard to buy for.
This year, I got my mom a bleacher/stadium seat thing, because she comes to watch all of my son's baseball games (and other sports) and the bleachers are super uncomfortable.
My dad is harder - he can often use new clothes, so I may just buy him a few shirts. Last year, I think I got him nice new slippers.
I usually give a new school pic of my son in a nice frame, and my sister gives them a photo calendar of her 2 kids and my son.

Mom got an iPad Pro and the apple pen plus a yeti travel mug. Dad got a weighted blanket, a yeti travel mug and a new microwave.
