3 day potty training
For those of you who were successful with the 3 day potty train method, when did you put them in full clothes?
We are on day 2, and he’s doing great, but he goes to preschool on Wednesday, which would be day 4. On day 3 should I put him in regular clothes or just wait?

3 day potty training
My DD hasn't had an accident once and I won't sent her to school in regular underwear. Or let her in the car without a pull up. Or sleep.
I probably need to let go.
But personally, I would wait a bit especially if he goes to one of those schools where they'll put him in a holding cell until you rush out of work to bring him new pants.

The 3 day plan is to throw out diapers/pull ups before you start, so he can’t go back into the pull ups. He’s only in school for 2.5 hours though, if it were all day, I’m sure I’d have to deviate from that.
But I was meaning that right now he’s walking around in only underwear lol, so did people put there kids back into full clothes on day 3. His school asks for extra changes of clothes, so if he has an accident they would just change him fully and tell me when I picked up so I could bathe him and bring in new clothes.

i did the 3 day plan but i use pull ups on my daughter but ive told her they are underwear and she thinks they are. wearing a pull up didn't affect her ability to tell me she had to go, and I don't find it to be a dealbreaker. She goes to daycare during the day and i haven't been comfortable to send her in underwear yet
ETA: i put her in full clothes on the 2nd day but from the waist down she was naked when we were at home. we went in and out for groceries and things starting day 2 so we tested it out that way. We did it a week ago and I still strip her down at home when we get home from daycare

Yep. There will be accidents and I’d just touch base with preschool about it!

I would just put him in regular clothes on Day 3! I did the 3 day method with my DD years ago, and it worked great! Did it on a long holiday weekend, and they were shocked when she came back to school without diapers/pull ups!

We just did the 3 day plan with my daughter Labor Day weekend.
We did full clothes on the 4th day which was day she went back to daycare. In 6 weeks she has had literally only two accidents and one overnight accident. We are not using pull ups at all since that is what the book said!

I didn't do the 3 day method but my DD started willingly going on the Potty on Thursday. Saturday I took off all pullups and went with it and she did pretty well. Sent her to daycare today in underwear and just sent in extra pairs of underwear and pants.

Thanks everyone! He woke up at 3 am on his own to go potty so he’s doing great so far! I sent him in with extra underwear and pants today, hope it goes well!
