Amazon returns
Has anyone returned anything to an amazon location? It is $10 for me to drop it off at a UPS location or free at an Amazon location in Stony Brook.

I just contacted them and they sent me a label for UPS. Wow, Whole Foods is a good question.

Amazon returns
The Stony Brook location is at the college I believe...so then you have to pay to park I'm pretty sure. I've never had to pay to return anything from Amazon, I either drop at the Post Office or Staples (ups) What are you returning?

My dh has done the Amazon locker at the 7-11 near us. I think it’s just a drop box. Is there something like that as an intermediary option?

I returned something to Amazon last month. I printed out the label they gave me, and UPS came to my front door. No cost to me at all.

It was a bag for my laptop, etc. I was sent a form for ups. I assumed it was no cost but now Im wondering if it would be $10. When I filled out the form to ship back, the only location was stony brook. I did a chat on amazon and assumed the woman was offering new label for no charge

It was one of the options during the return process on their site. I didn't do anything special.
You do have to be home the day they are coming to pick it up, but I had off that day anyway, so it wasn't a big deal.

I work in the building the Stony Brook return center is located in. Its very easy. Its located in the library which is pretty central in the University.

There’s a locker in the health sciences building. I dropped something in there once and it was at least a week before I got my refund whereas if I handed it to the UPS guy I had the refund the next day.

it really depends on the reason and item for the return if you pay to ship it back or its on Amazon.

Yes, if it says Prime and Free Returns, then you can ship it back for free.
Also if the item arrived damaged or something, then it should be free as well
You have to look when you are buying each item to see what the return policy is
