be jealous of me!

2018 started with, not one, but two eye surgeries. during that process, i get a cardiac scare that was nothing... but i got billed for it.

i've dealt crappy doctors' offices, followed by so many medical bills. i've been paying them, and i'm still being threatened with collections if i don't pay them in full by the end of july.

about six weeks ago, i started to see "dancing" lights out of the corner of my eyes. today, i had my final, post-op visit.

drum roll

i was informed that i will need another round of eye surgeries... woo hoo!! yay!

because i had an early-onset cataract, the doctor explained that there was a possibility a new layer could develop and it would need to be removed with a laser.

we're going to "wait and see" for now.

i just hope it keeps until 2019. i just can't afford more medical expenses.

at the same time, i feel lucky that if it does need to happen sooner... i CAN afford it, but i would rather wait until january.

oh, well.
