Private speech
Anyone know of any private pay speech therapists at a center? Not Janine Stein- Long Island speech and mayo or NYT kids? Noting a speech delay in my son and he won’t qualify yet for EI since it’s not a 33% delay and I don’t want to wait for it to become a 33% delay. I’m in Suffolk in port Jeff area. If they accept insurance that’s great if not I’m fine with that too

It’s a hike for you, but I believe Kids in Action in Islip does this.

Little angels in blue point is great and takes insurance. I think they just opened a new location but I can't remember where.

We loved Little Angels. My daughter went there for a year and was then declassed. We went to the Blue Point location but they also do home therapy and have a couple of other locations

Thanks! I’ll try both tomorrow! I don’t mind traveling if I can get him a time convenient to my work schedule and that will provide good service!

I just called little angels they don’t accept my insurance.... I have NYSHIP
Updated called me back, receptionist said they are able to bill the medical portion under United so I was able to get an appointment for this week! Thanks for the recommendation!

Good luck! Our therapist was Kristina S. out of the Blue Point location...DD LOVED her.
