Stranger Things.....
Do people really let their 10 year old's watch this show? It was voted best show in my son's 5th grade year book. He's begged to watch it but from what I've seen it's completely inappropriate. Does it get better as you go on (less language and less scary)?

Yes! It was super popular with the 5th grade at my daughters school too. She’s younger, she hasn’t watched it.
I was shocked that these kids watched it. But like I said, my kids are younger so I can’t say what I would allow or not at that age.

Stranger Things.....
wow! my sons going into 2nd grade, so I never say never LOL but definitely don't think its something he'll be watching at 10/11 years old.
BUT If its anything like when i was in school... its probably one "cool kid" whose parents let them watch it, so then all the other kids don't want to feel left out, so they pretend that they watch it, too and vote for it and everything... LOL Ugh! not looking forward to this stage!!! right now, my son's still cute and innocent! HAHAHA

Stranger Things.....
My kids are small, my husband and I watch the show. I don’t necessarily think I would let my 9/10/11 year old kids watch it. Around 13 yes, I would think it would be less scary for them. There’s also content at some points of the show I wouldn’t want my child exposed to that young.

I think I am the only person on the planet who doesn't like that show. I couldn't get through the first episode. I actually fell asleep on it.

Nope. DH & I tried, after 4 episodes we gave up.

My 9 year old starting watching end of 2nd season with me. Only concern for me would be its scary but given the nature of it she was ok.

12 year old watched with us then again and loves it! 9 year old saw with DH and I and likes it too.
Only major scene concerning was Nancy and Steve making out, the night Barb went missing.
