Who still has a CD player/tape deck in their car?
I got a 2017 Ram truck recently, and when I went to put in a CD, I realized that it didn't have a media slot.
I can Bluetooth everything, or USB, but I thought it was interesting that there wasn't a way to put anything physical into the car.
I read on-line that a lot of manufacturers are doing that, since it's cheaper and easier to leave them out, and it's easier to design the center console without them.

Well I have a 2006 car so yeah I have a CD player.
I don't have the new fangled technology like bluetooth or media players in my car!

My car has a single CD player that then downloads the music into the "hard drive" (or whatever you call it)

My car is a 2016 Toyota Corolla and it has a CD player and other inputs (bluetooth, USB, etc).

We have a ‘72 Dart with an aftermarket CD player.
We had a 2006 Subaru until a few weeks ago...it was totaled. That had a CD player in it.
We just got a 2019 Jeep and it’s so new that I don’t even know if it has a CD player haha...I’ve only been in it twice!

We have a 2017 Durango and no CD player. It never crossed my mind to ask if it came with one, until I went to play a CD.
Same thing with my husband's 2015 Charger, I was so shocked there was no CD player.

I have no idea. I don’t think so. We have a 2017 explorer and a 2018 Mazda cx 5.
GoldenRod, were you alone in the car when you were trying to jam a cd into the dash?!

That's why they aren't putting them in a lot of vehicles. Even with the library, you can download virtual books or audio books over the Internet.
Now that I know, I don't mind not having the player. It was just a bit of a surprise when I first figured it out...

Yeah.... it took a few seconds to realize I probably didn't have a player , so I went on-line and found out that it's getting more common.

I have a 2009 car so there is a CD player. I'll be disappointed not to have a CD player in my next car. I like to take CD's out of the library and pop them right in without having to upload them to my computer and transfer to my phone and all that. Sometimes i just want to hear a song or album and not have it taking up space on my phone.

But My brother did buy me something off of amazon that i plug into the cigarette lighter to make my car blue tooth which also allows me to stream pandora from my phone

i just got a 2018 nissan rogue that has a CD player. we looked at the hyundai tuscon and honda crv that did not come with one.

Hmm I’m not sure if we have this in Nassau. I work in a library so I should probably know. Lol. Sounds cool though, I’m going to find out.

2016 Highlander - It has a CD player
My last truck, Rav4, had a 6 disc CD player. I actually miss it. I liked having a bunch of favorite CDs loaded and ready, sometimes I don't feel like dealing with the streaming stuff.

My 2016 has one but it has a DVD player for the kids so maybe that’s why it has one I don’t remember the last time I bought a cd though.
