Pottery Barn Kids Backpack Size?
What size for an above average height/weight 3 year old to take to daycare? I was thinking small. Quality seems good. Anyone know if they are machine washable? Thanks!

Yes the small will be good. The PreK size is so tiny!
Pottery Barn says to just spot clean. That’s all I have ever done to DS but his doesn’t really get dirty he is on in Nursery school.

I agree with the small. It will fit a folder, change of clothes, lunch bag. The pre-k size are like those tiny novelty size backpacks. Dd has had hers for 2 years and doesn’t even have a spot on it so I wouldn’t worry about it getting too dirty, it really holds up.

My DS is 4 in pre k and he used the same size small PBK backpack last year and this year. I’ve neber had to clean it and it never looks like it needs it.
The pre k size looks like a large lunch bag.

I usually machine wash them a couple of times a year on a delicate cycle and it works great.

They hold up great! My kids get two years out of one. Defintely small not pre-k, learned that the hard way! A folder doesn't even fit in the pre-K one.

It really depends what you need to put in there. My kids need a sheet and blankets for nap time so I bought the large size. But my kids don't wear them. We carry them in for the kids.
