Does Anyone Know the Best Cancer Hospital in North Carolina or South Carolina?
Hi,
If someone close to you was diagnosed with Colon Cancer and they reside on the North/South Carolina border where would you recommend is the best hospital to be treated at? They are originally from here (Long Island). This all just came on so quickly and we’re wondering if there’s even a good Cancer hospital down there.

I do not have a specific hospital name, but I would suggest looking into Duke or Chapel Hill

UNC (Chapel Hill) is one of the top cancer hospitals in the country.

I agree about Duke or UNC (although I’m biased toward Duke bc I’ve worked there a bunch). I’m sure it’s different drs but when Teddy Kennedy had cancer, he went to Duke.

Duke or Chapel Hill. Some of my cancer buddies have been treated at these facilities.
