Christmas gift for class
DS is in Kindergarten. What do you recommend? I found a cute Frosty book but I need 25 of them, and it will end up costing me over 100 bucks. Should I just get dollar store stuff?

Re: Christmas gift for class
Honestly I'd skip it. They get so much stuff this time of year the last thing they need is more chotchkie coming home. I never even thought to buy gifts for her classmates and she never really got anything. It gets out of control with all the buying.

Too much. I usually never get the class Christmas gifts. This year i was feeling extra festive lol so i just got lil treat bags filled with pencil, a xmas eraser and a lollipop. Easy , cheap and you can always use a pencil lol

Hate to say it but we personally get so much of that kind of stuff that I usually end up tossing most of it.
To the op, skip the gifts and spend the extra on the teachers. The kids will never miss those little items.

Don’t bother. The last thing we need is another gift and if it’s little trinketsbthey are going in the trash. We are trying to minimize so unless it’s a long term toy etc we are returning and tossing.

Christmas gift for class
i skip it, too-- it all just gets thrown away.
What you could do is buy one book that you know the teacher doesn't have in her class library-- so its like a gift for the whole class? ( last year when DS was in kindergarten, i read the book "Press Here" when i was "Mystery reader". the kids loved it and the teacher commented that she had never read that one... So i bought a copy at christmastime for the classroom.)

You can find $1 books in the Scholastic order form, do you get those? But unless you are the class mom, and coordinating a gift for the party, I honestly wouldn't bother. It's a nice gesture, but not necessary
