I like to wait until the second week in December, I figure by then most everyone has their tree up and is in the Xmas frame of mind.

I’ve historically gotten them out by Christmas, though I always say I’ll get them out earlier. I feel like people who put them out, put them away after the new year (or maybe that’s just me?).. so I feel like the earlier they go out, the longer they can be appreciated. That said, I still need to order mine.

I do the same...I received one yesterday, which will probably be misplaced by the time I decorate and display my cards.

Depends usually on when we book our photographer (which in turn depends on whether we are just doing Xmas photos or Xmas and bday for my 2 December babies!). Last year it was later, like 12/11. This year I vowed to get everything done early so we could enjoy the season and the 4 December bdays we have to celebrate . I got sick of looking at the orange Shutterfly box full of stamped and labeled cards on my table so I mailed them out Monday!

I do the same...I received one yesterday, which will probably be misplaced by the time I decorate and display my cards.
I once got one before Thanksgiving and it irritated me.
At least wait until we eat the bird!

We drop them off at the post office the day before Thanksgiving, so people start receiving them as early as the day after Thanksgiving.

This is true...I take down my decorations and cards on New Year's Day typically.

Yes that is the reason I like to send them early. I put a lot of time and effort (and money) into them I want them to be enjoyed for as long as possible!
But I do like to wait until December because I am old school and believe Christmas season starts 12/1
