Radio City Christmas Show
Haven't been in over 10 years and was wondering what are the best seats to get when you have little ones?
Orchestra Floor, let's say I get 5th row center....can my Son see everything? Or is it better to get Mezzanine so we are up a little higher looking onto the stage?
Thank you

Re: Radio City Christmas Show
I would not sit in Orchestra for that show. Your son likely won't be able to see over the people in front of him. Plus, it's a BIG show with projections that expand beyond the stage, and people/characters dancing in the doorways that also run along the walls in the theater. The last couple of times we have sat way far, could still see well, and saw everything projected out.
We did Orchestra once, and never again. Had a hard time seeing, and all of the latecomers to the show were blocking for view for quite a while. They do not have a policy on latecomers, so they just seat them as they come. We missed a good 15 minutes of the show from being blocked by people standing in the aisles. I was yelled at by an Usher when I politely said we cannot see at all!

Re: Radio City Christmas Show
Thank you. I was afraid of that, getting floor seats and him not being able to see the entire stage. These tickets are insane $$ so trying to not waste it.
So being up a little higher is best??

Re: Radio City Christmas Show
We did further back in the orchestra last year. Row H I believe. It's a little different there because they have a whole set of double letters and then do the alphabet again as single letters in the orchestra. I thought the seats were great. Far enough back to see everything.
That said, we've done mezzanine too and those were fine as well.

I always try to get tickets in the double letters in the orchestra. Usually MM to ZZ and always on the aisle. They shoot confetti and it “snows” at the end, so that’s a good spot to be for the kids.

Re: Radio City Christmas Show
We go every year and sit in the first mezz in the first few rows. If you can go during the week, like the PP said, code MCD has tickets for $45. Of course the fees that are tacked on are ridiculous, but you still save $.
