American Girl Store
DH and I are bringing the girls to the new American Girl Store in Rockefeller Plaza as one of their Christmas gifts. We have a dinner reservation the day after Christmas and a reservation to have their hair and doll's hair done.
Does anyone have recommendations? Can you share what you did there and how you liked it?
I am on the fence about canceling the hair appointment.

American Girl Store
We went a few years ago at the old location. I so want to go to the new store. We did lunch (which was fabulous) and had the dolls hair done. They didn't have the option to do the girls hair yet but I would have done that too. We also reserved the personal shopper and it was the best ever. It was a private section to drop off all our stuff and she helped us pick out a ton of stuff and then went to pay for us while we waited in a private room. Totally worth it especially since you are going around the holidays.

American Girl Store
The new store isn't even open yet, it opens next Saturday.
We LOVE American Girl. We have been dozens of times for lunch/dinner, we had a birthday party there, have done the doll hair styling, etc. Super cute, and girly place. The new store is supposed to be even more amazing!

American Girl Store
We were just there last weekend for my daughters 9th birthday(had also gone for her 5th birthday). It's a fabulous place, but we find the food there AWFUL(the cake is delicious though)! We went to eat after at Serendipity 3 for our second, "real" dinner which was a lot of fun too!

It's in Rockefeller Center. They will now have a salon where girls can get their hair and nails done.
