How's the weather by you?
I'm at work (hauppauge) and the rain is coming down sideways and the tress look like they are going to blow over!
It looks like a hurricane out there!
Days like this I am grateful for the cafeteria downstairs because no way would I want to be running out for lunch in this!

How's the weather by you?
That's so weird because I am pretty close to you - in Holbrook (across from the airport) and we are not experiencing that at all. Looks dark and it is very windy, but no rain...yet...

Yeah I saw a landscaper running with a trimmer and I was thinking like.. wth.. is this extreme landscaping? Parked and walked out and it came pouring down. Then it all clicked! LOL.

I'm in RVC and right now it's just cloudy and windy. It poured for about 20 seconds a little while ago, but nothing since then.

Misery. I'm on the 45th floor in midtown and they've been doing construction on the outside of our building so the window washer platform is attached to the side (not in use, obviously) but the ropes and pulleys are swinging wildly and banging into the windows. It gave me an effing heart attack this morning! 
ETA: We have nearly floor to ceiling windows by the way- I'm afraid it's going to smash!

Just being on the 45th floor would give me a heart attack.
I would never make it that high in an elevator too lol

It seemed to have stopped raining now- but it's crazy dark out and windy.
But I just KNOW the worst of it will arrive just in time for my commute home- making my normal commute from the 8th circle of hell into the 9th circle of hell

It did end up raining a little out here, but not terrible.
Which way do you go to go home? I drive west (to Bethpage) to get home, traffic is usually not horrible around 5/5:30.
I take the LIE from Hauppauge to Holbrook.
With no traffic- like if it's an off hour I can be here in less than 20 min. Most nights, leaving at 530 pm it takes me like 40 min on a good day, more if there is rain/an accident'/etc

OMG 25th floor and the creaking noise all day drove me NUTS. First half of the day I thought it was the scroller on somebody's mouse with the volume on max and was finally like everybody shut your keyboard volumes off!!! I got laughed at...
