Frustrated with Amazon Prime lately
Anyone notice this lately? I ordered an item that was marked prime on Thursday. In my head that meant it would be here on Saturday, Sunday the latest if maybe I ordered too late in the day on Thursday.
I check today and it says....shipping now...arriving on Tuesday.
Really?
What is the point of Prime if its not 2 days?
What am I paying for?
I needed this item by Monday. I paid more to get it through a vendor that was offering Prime because I needed it.
I don't think Thursday was unreasonable to order it and expect it by Monday....Monday is even late! I should have had it by Saturday.
But Tuesday? Really?
They said the item was in stock when I ordered.
What is going on with Prime lately?
This isn't the first time it has happened either.

I agree. I've had multiple stuff that say Prime arrive in 4 days or later because they were shipped late.

Yes - so many things like that on Prime lately. I was looking for an item and sorted by "Prime eligible". So I find the one that I want, put it in my cart and am about to check out when I notice the delivery date is "expected" to be sometime in FEBRUARY!!! Why would that be listed under Prime??? This was not some exotic item - it was a friggin shredder. But yes, I've also noticed a lot of Prime items are taking at least a few days to ship.

I recently learned that prime literally means 2 day shipping as in 2 days from when it's shipped, not when you order! And it's up to the vendor to get it out asap. It's so annoying

I have noticed that. I had stopped using them, but just signed back up and was pissed off when diapers that were prime took 5 days, yet a Halloween shirt I ordered came in 2 days and wasn't prime. I ended up having to run to target to get diapers which completely defeats the purpose of amazon.

Yes--it's not 2 days from the order date. Although it used to work out that way!

Frustrated with Amazon Prime lately
Ack! I've experienced this as well as issues with Amazon Logistics shipping (listed as AMZL US when trying to track my order). When my shipment is through Amazon Logistics, often it will arrive a day late despite the estimated delivery never changing (it often says "Expected by 8PM today" even when I check at 10PM).

Two business days. You may have missed the Thursday shipping cutoff, which was no different than ordering Friday morning. Then two business days, Monday 1st day, Tuesday 2nd day.
Sometimes they deliver items on Saturdays or even Sundays, but that's not guaranteed. Depends what warehouse they have to product located at. If it's far away warehouse, may be more difficult to get there on the weekend.
I always pay close attention to the "guaranteed delivery date" they post for Prime cart items and how many hours (or minutes) are left to order an item to make that cutoff.

Even with the guaranteed delivery date it had been late. Email them. They will give you a credit. And prime is 2 day shipping not 2 business days.

Yup this happened last week. My diapers were guaranteed delivery and said they were it for delivery, nope

Yes it's always 2 days, not business days. And while I don't recall the guaranteed delivery date on this one, I have definitely had items that missed their guaranteed delivery date. I will try emailing them.

Frustrated with Amazon Prime lately
The last 2 times I ordered something on Prime my packages got lost. I would get the notification that they would be delivered in 2 days then the tracking information stopped. Then I was told to wait a few more days to see if they turned up and eventually was told I had to cancel the orders cause they were lost.

All the time for the last 6 months or so. It is extremely frustrating. I thought it was just me because it wasn't happening to anyone else I know or who uses my account. So glad I am not the only one.
