Just a whiny teacher/travel/first world problem vent
We've been to Disney several times - mostly during Feb break.
I am DYYYYYIIIING to take my son there for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Epcot's Food and Wine.
I would stay for a few days, hit those parks, and visit some family.
I would go late October when it's not 942 degrees out.
But I can't.
Because I'm a teacher.
FML

I know it's not during the actual season, but both events begin the last week of August. It might be hard to swing, but it may be an option for a few days or a long weekend prior to school starting.

I knew food and wine started in August but I actually didn't know the Halloween party started that early. It's way too hot for me then anyway. Thanks though.

I am not sure what religion you are but what if you take two days with the Jewish holidays plus the weekend? They are Thursday and Friday this year.
