Do you drive or take the train? I usually drive to the Giants games but we are there all day. We are going to a concert and DH thinks we should take the train. I didn't know how much of a hassle that would be. Anyone with experience in doing that from Long Island?

I've taken the train any time I've gone. LIRR to Penn then NJ transit to the stadium. It's not much of a hassle and this is coming from someone who HATES the LIRR.

Drive. You may end up waiting for the LIRR if it doesn't time out perfect. My line doesn't run often so I avoid late trains.

I would drive. I take NJ Transit every day and I took the train to the stadium once. It took so long - I could've been home quicker than it took me to get from Hoboken to the Meadowlands (the train from Secaucus to Meadowlands was late getting there, late to leave, and slow to pull in).

Both options kinda stink. We drove home from the U2 concert and it took us almost an hour to get out of the parking lot, and it's then over an hour to get home. However, the trains are usually packed.

Awesome show right?! It was totally worth the 2 1/2 hours of traffic to get there. Chat Icon I was cursing myself that we should have taken the train but then on the way home I was glad we didn't. We were home in an hour.Chat Icon

Omg. I'm still in awe of the show and keep watching the videos we took. I've never seen anything like it and I love love love their music. Totally going to every show they have by us lol.

As for the traffic getting out of the parking lot... good lord... that part wasn't fun... I'm out in Holbrook so we didn't get home until 1:30 Chat Icon totally worth it though. So mad those bracelets didn't stay lit lol. My daughter would've loved it!

I said the same thing! My DH got me the tickets for my bday (after years of begging) and told me he would "suffer through it" with me. Afterwards, he couldn't stop talking about it. And he LOVED the tribute to Chester Bennington. He said next time he would spring for the better seats. LOL Although, at that stadium, I feel like there are really no great seats because it's so damn big. Even if you are close to the stage you aren't going to be able to see everything.
