DAY TRIP OR OVERNIGHT TRIP IDEAS NEEDED
hey, looking for a fun day trip or overnight with my 4 year old. We are going to disney the end of summer so I'm not looking for an amusement park, but rather a fun experience. TIA

Or crayola in PA
You can do the farms, Turkey Hill, etc in Lancaster also

Mystic, CT is fun! It can be done as a day trip, but we stayed 1 night at a hotel. We did the Dinosaur Place on the first day, walked around the seaport that night and had dinner and ice cream in the seaport, and did the aquarium the next day before heading home. Fun mini trip.

What hotel did you stay at?
Holiday Inn Express Mystic. It was nothing fancy, but it was clean and very close to everything. It was only for one night, so we didn't need anything luxurious. By the time we got back from the dinosaur park and checked in, it was 4 pm. We dropped off our bags and went to dinner and for ice cream and walked around the seaport. We didn't get back to the room until 9. Then the next morning we were out of the room by 10 am to head to the aquarium. So for what we needed, it was perfect.
