You CAN be anti-Dem/Clinton and STILL anti-trump
The hyper-partisanship in this country is scary. Everyone thinks they have to pick pure red or pure blue, and there is no middle ground.
I wish people would realize that they can be completely pro-Republican, anti-Hillary, etc, etc, and STILL understand that trump is NOT an actual Republican, NOT competent, NOT going to bring jobs back, NOT going to help the middle class, etc, etc.

I agree and I wish more people would understand that. There's so much 'libtard' and 'right wingnu't going around that people have lost sight of the bigger picture. I know for certain that if a different Republican candidate had won the election, sure, liberals would be upset because of the core issues and conservatives would be happy that certain issues were being addressed according to their beliefs, but this is Trump-specific to the insanity and deep deep ineptitude surrounding him.

Exactly. I WISH we were debating policies and laws that were getting passed. On the other hand, I guess it's sorta good that no actual laws are getting passed with this administration so far.... The AHCA is possibly getting close, and that is VERY scary, however....

Yea well I have always voted Democrat and I am very outspoken about my hatred of Trump. To my family that utomatically means that I voted for Hillary which isnt the truth. I didnt think either was a good choice

Re: You CAN be anti-Dem/Clinton and STILL anti-trump
I have mixed feelings on this.
I don't disagree with you - it's a fact at this point, given how many anti Clinton pro Bernie people there are - but I think here is what is causing some of the partisanship:
1. Part of the issue is that the Republicans are utterly spineless. Even DeVos - someone diehard Republicans on here objected to - only garnered 2 Repub Senator "no" votes. I think that if more centrist Repubs didn't walk the party line and stood up to Trump, there wouldn't be so much animosity towards the Republican party.
2. When people who live in states that are not solid blue voted for a third party or wrote in Bernie I find it hard to take them seriously as progressives. I don't care if you HATE Hillary, it's not even remotely debatable that she would have done more for progressive values than him. So if you really care about health care for all, job training, non white male rights, etc. you would have held your nose and voted for her if you live in, say, PA or FL.
